マウナ ラニ、オーベルジュ リゾート コレクションの紹介

The first Auberge Resorts Collection property in Hawaii, the Mauna Lani, Auberge Resorts Collection, is slated to open in late 2019 following a $100 million redesign and revitalization of the property, which formerly was Mauna Lani Bay Hotel & Bungalows.

The 32-acre property sits oceanfront on the Kohala Coast. When complete, Mauna Lani, Auberge Resorts Collection will be comprised of more than 300 rooms, marking a reduction in the number of units but an increase in the amount of oceanfront and ocean-view suites.

Changes to the property also include brand-new pools, including an infinity Adult Pool and Lounge with private cabanas and a Family Pool. For dining options, the resort will retain CanoeHouse restaurant and also will feature a reimagined version of the Bay Terrace Restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Also planned is the introduction of Auberge Adventures, which will offer activities including stand-up paddleboarding and outrigger canoe trips.

Sanjiv Hulugalle, formerly of Four Seasons Resort in Ko Olina, will serve as general manager and vice president of Mauna Lani, Auberge Resorts Collection.

The project was first announced in May 2018, and Mauna Lani Bay Hotel & Bungalows closed in October. Interior design firm Meyer Davis is leading the remodel of public areas and guestrooms, and land planning and architecture firm Hart Howerton spearheads the architectural changes and renovations to the resort’s gardens and grounds.

DiamondHead Land, a joint venture between San Francisco-based ProspectHill Group and Hawaii-based hotel executive Pat Fitzgerald, is the development and ownership team, in partnership with a major institutional investor. Auberge Resorts Collection is a California-based luxury hospitality company that has 20 properties around the world. In addition to the Mauna Lani, Auberge Resorts Collection, the company also has several forthcoming concepts in the works in destinations including Guacalito, Nicaragua, Marrakech, Morocco, and Sun Valley, Idaho.
